Rick Wakeman plays a beautiful variation on Trilogy, a composition by his friend Keith Emerson.

Wakeman says he and Emerson wanted to record an album together, which could only have been amazing. But their respective management couldn’t reach an agreement.

Wakeman said in a short talk before this performance that missing the opportunity to produce music with Emerson is one of the great regrets of his life.
